Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest sanctuaries of Andhra Pradesh. It is spread at a distance of 806 sq.km in Warangal district. It is located at a distance of 90 km. from Warangal and 250 km. from Hyderabad.

Three-quarters of the area consist of a plain while the rest is hilly with many streams and springs. The vegetation here is tropical dry deciduous with teak and its associates like Thiruman, Maddi, Bamboo etc. of good quality standing 60ft and above. while the fauna includes several endangered animals like Tiger, Sloth Bear, Four Horned Antelope, Chinkara, Black Buck etc

Flora:
Dry deciduous  teak forest with bamboo, madhuca, terminalia, pterocarpus.

Fauna:
A perennial water source called "Dayyam Vagu", divides the sanctuary into almost two halves. It is home to Tiger, Leopard, Panther, Wolf, Wild Dogs, Jackals Sloth Bear, Chousingha, Black Buck, Nilgai, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Four Horned Antilope, Chinkara, Black Buck Giant Squirrels and many kinds of birds. Reptiles like Crocodiles (Mugger), Python, Cobra, Kraite, Star
