Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary was a reserve forest as long back as 1952. This tells us about the floral and faunal richness of the place. With an area of 6.05 sq. kms the entire sanctuary is situated within the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council area and is full of rare and endangered flora and fauna. As the name suggests this area is famous for it's hot water springs.
The sanctuary is the habitat for elephants, leopards, tigers, deer, golden langurs, hoolock gibbons and a variety of birds and reptiles.
Flora and Fauna -
The Sanctuary is covering an area of 6.05 square kilometer of land. The main attraction of the sanctuary is the Hot Water Springs. There is a Hot water spring from which hot water flows. Apart from it, there are various species of animals like Elephants, Leopard, Tigers, Dear, Golden Langur is also found here.

Best Time to Visit - the wildlife is between the months of October to March.
