Porbandar Bird Sanctuary has the distinction of being the only bird sanctuary of the State. Tourists availing of rail transport may use the rail head of Porbandar, 5 kms from here while air-travelers can use the closest airport of Porbandar located 5 kms away. As the place is quite well linked via road too, travelers taking the road to Porbandar Bird Sanctuary would have no problem to reach here.
